Lisa Nicholson
President, L'JON Beauty Products

Lisa’s first University education degree was in Chemistry and Microbiology. Little did she know at the time she was preparing for her career in skin care. Later she re-entered the University of British Columbia and earned a second degree.

Before she began her career Lisa survived a car accident in which the driver and 2 companions were killed. Lisa was the only survivor. Her face was shattered by the windshield of the car, leaving many deep scars and large cheloidal scarring.

After completion of a few years of plastic surgery the skin was still noticeably scarred and discolored. This combined with acne and a sensitive skin problem made Lisa a good candidate for cover-up makeup. In desperation she began using cosmetics only to find that they caused more problems than they solved. Her skin became even oilier and the acne seemed to become worse.

She then began trying many different skin treatments recommended from the counters in the downtown stores. None of the products fulfilled the promises that they were advertising. Nothing seemed to help.

To treat her own skin problems Lisa formulated with natural source essential oils, vitamins and herbs:

  1. A natural cream cleanser (no petroleum) that would remove makeup.

  2. A natural lathering cleanser that would exfoliate without disturbing the natural ph balance of the skin.

  3. A toner without alcohol that replaces the natural elements of the skin and contains healing aloe and chamomile.

  4. A vitamin conditioner and essential oil moisturizer without synthetic chemicals, petrochemicals and preservatives that are known to age the skin.

Lisa tried these new formulations on her skin with amazing results. After a few weeks of use she no longer had to wear makeup. The results were so good that the scar tissue was beginning to smooth and the cheloidal discoloration went away. Her acne also disappeared.

The results were so dramatic that she wanted to share her good fortune with her friends. She began selling this new product, the profits from which helped her complete a second University degree. She made many friends among her customers, most of whom are still using our products today.
